Abstract

Tous les experts s'accordent pour souligner l'importance décisive de ce que l'on appelle les nouvelles technologies de l'information et de la communication (NTIC) pour la croissance économique et l'emploi dans ce nouveau millénaire et dans le contexte de la globalisation. Cependant il importe avant tout de souligner la nature particulière de ces technologies si l'on veut en comprendre l'impact sur le travail et l'emploi. Nous présenterons donc successivement les points suivants dans notre exposé : 1. Réflexions sur la nature des technologies de l'information et des communications; 2. La situation française dans les NTIC et la politique du gouvernement dans ce domaine; 3. L' influence des NTIC; 4. Les tendances actuelles et perspectives d'avenir.
