Abstract

En phase avec l'humeur maussade du moment et le spectre de la récession américaine, l'euphorie post-Covid dans les salles des ventes est bien enterrée. En France et dans le monde, la conjoncture internationale rend les acheteurs plus prudents et les maisons de vente s'adaptent à un marché déprimé et en proie à des mutations de fond. À travers ce panorama des ventes aux enchères publiques en France et à l'international en 2024, le Conseil des Maisons de vente et Beaux Arts Éditions dressent un bilan complet de l'année écoulée et apportent un éclairage sur les signaux faibles et les nouvelles tendances du marché. Enrichie d'enquêtes et d'analyses, cette nouvelle édition est également l'occasion de donner la parole à plusieurs professionnels du secteur, aux premières loges de ces mutations et d'éclairer de nouvelles pratiques, répondant aux enjeux contemporains.
