Abstract

The renowned playwright that was Edmond Rostand transmitted a cultural legacy to the world of letters, but also a solid real estate heritage. Or himself had benefited from the fortunes accumulated by several generations of the Rostand dynasty, one of the pillars of the large Marseille bourgeoisie, active notably in trading and banking.
