Abstract

Ce document de travail propose une analyse transversale de la structure industrielle des industries sanitaires et médico-sociales, dans un contexte de renouvellement des questionnements publics sur leur fonctionnement (Sénat, 2024, IGF/IGAS, 2025). S'appuyant sur un système d'information original combinant données administratives et fiscales, ainsi que sur une méthodologie innovante d'identification et de visualisation des groupes et contours de groupes, il met en évidence une recomposition de ces secteurs, marquée par le recul relatif des entités indépendantes et la montée en puissance des groupes et des clusters d'investissement. L'analyse révèle également des écarts de rentabilité significatifs entre ces formes d'organisation, associés à une forte hétérogénéité interne. Ces travaux ouvrent de nombreuses perspectives d'approfondissement, notamment en termes d'analyse des déterminants des dynamiques de concentration à l'œuvre, des stratégies financières des différents acteurs, et les interactions entre financements publics et structures de marché.
