Abstract

Une convention annuelle entre le SDES (service de la donnée et des études statistiques) du Ministère de la Transition Ecologique (MTE), AgroParisTech, représenté par le Bureau d'Économie Théorique et Appliquée (BETA) et l'IGN (institut national de l'information géographique et forestière) est établie afin de répondre à la demande d'Eurostat sur les « Comptes Européens de la forêt ». Ce rapportage est basé sur le volontariat et son format est défini au niveau européen. Les 10 tableaux européens sont complétés par 8 tableaux spécifiques pour répondre à la demande française). Les résultats sont présentés pour les années 2020 (résultats définitifs) et 2021 (résultats provisoires). Ce document, rédigé conjointement par le BETA et l'IGN, rappelle le format actuel des comptes de la forêt, décrit la méthodologie utilisée par l'IGN et par le BETA, et apporte des éléments d'analyse sur la période 2012-2021.
