Abstract

Based on their common interest in seeking scientific and operational answers to the questions raised by drinking water networks asset management, SWDE and INRAE have decided to join forces to conduct research in this area. This resulted in the "Multi-scale asset management of drinking water networks" (GePaME) project lasting three years and started on September 1, 2020. This is an interdisciplinary research collaboration which is interested i) in understanding the leak process and the effectiveness of leak detection, ii) in building decision support for the multi-objective and constrained selection of renewal works, iii) in long-term simulation term of network asset management strategies. It is broken down into operational tasks which must result in scientific advances and decision support tools which are intended to be integrated into practices and into the SWDE information system. This final report presents all the results of the GePaME project.
