Abstract

Depuis des décennies, plusieurs pays ont développé des réseaux d'instituts culturels un peu partout dans le monde, chargés de diffuser leur culture et leur langue. Les exemples sont nombreux : Alliances Françaises (dès 1883), British Council (1934), Goethe Institute (1951), institut Cervantes (1991) et plus récemment les instituts Confucius (2004). D'autres suivent comme les instituts Roi Sejong (2012) ou sont organisés différemment comme les instituts italiens.
