Abstract

L'objectif de ce travail a été d'étudier les principaux déterminants économiques du développement, en France, des filières biologiques en aval de la production agricole. La production biologique a connu une croissance importante au cours des cinq dernières années. De manière conjointe, les filières biologiques se sont développées par la croissance des acteurs en place ou l'entrée de nouveaux acteurs. Quelles sont les stratégies des différents acteurs et comment ont-elles évolué ? Comment ces stratégies influencent-elles le fonctionnement de ces filières ? Pour répondre à ces questions nous avons réalisé une enquête auprès d'acteurs de deux filières (céréales et légumes frais) dans deux régions françaises (Bretagne et Rhône-Alpes). Nous nous sommes intéressés aux stratégies des acteurs et à leur vision de l'évolution de ces filières. Ce document présente une synthèse des résultats tirés d'un travail de recherche documentaire et de 13 entretiens semi-directifs avec des acteurs de ces filières.
