Abstract

Dans un premier chapitre, on s'appuie sur les comptes globaux dressés France entière pour dire quelle a été, de 1956 à 1970, et de 1970 à 1979, l'augmentation des revenus non agricoles en agriculture principale. Leur progression très rapide (+ 6,2 % et + 6,1 % par an en francs constants) contraste avec la variation du revenu agricole (+ 3,3 % et - 1,8 %). Le deuxième chapitre cherche à déterminer si, au sein de l'agriculture principale, les revenus non agricoles sont devenus d'autant plus importants que les revenus agricoles sont plus bas, question à soulever dès lors que le soutien des revenus d'activité agricole tient une grande place dans la politique agricole.
