L'accompagnement du micro-emprunteur - spécificité du microcrédit français : son importance pour le bénéficiaire
In France people and institutions involved in microfinance put a lot of emphasis on the support of the micro-borrowers during the term of repayment of their loans received from the microfinance institutions. Often inseparable from the process of funding, this financing support requires a take over of the borrower by one or several persons which are considered to be qualified enough to provide personalized assistance to the micro-borrower so that he/she doesn't endanger the property of his/her business, increases its chances of success and maintains the ability to repay the loan. This study aims to analyze this phenomenon, which is not common practice in microfinance in emerging countries and even in some developed countries. Using the concept of factors of production, but also primary qualitative data and secondary data, the study seeks to quantify the importance of this financing support for beneficiaries of professional (business oriented) microcredit in France.
