Abstract

Cet ouvrage prend le parti de décrire la genèse et le développement des différentes théories macroéconomiques en les reliant aux épisodes successifs de l'histoire économique contemporaine. Il est construit avec le souci de se rapporter aux grands auteurs de la discipline. Il s'adresse aussi bien à des élèves de premier cycle en économie ou de classes préparatoires qu'à des élèves de deuxième cycle en s'efforçant de mettre en valeur à la fois la nature des problèmes posés (chômage, inflation, déficits, dettes, inégalités) que la logique des raisonnements et modèles construits pour en traiter.
