Abstract
En 2025, l'Asie (hors Chine) reste le principal moteur de la croissance mondiale malgré un contexte difficile (tensions commerciales, géopolitiques et volatilité financière). Sa croissance est estimée à environ 4,5 %, contre 2 % pour les économies avancées. La performance asiatique repose essentiellement sur la solidité de la demande intérieure, en particulier en Inde et en Asie du Sud-Est, où la consommation et l'investissement public constituent les principaux soutiens à l'activité. La dynamique régionale s'inscrit dans une trajectoire légèrement ascendante en 2025, avec une croissance passant de 4,7 % en 2024 à 5,3 %, avant de ralentir modérément à 4,6 % en 2026. L'Inde et la Chine concentrent l'essentiel de la contribution à cette croissance. L'Inde devrait enregistrer une croissance supérieure à 6 %, portée par une demande intérieure vigoureuse, la poursuite d'investissements publics ambitieux et une amélioration graduelle du climat d'investissement. Les trajectoires de croissance en Asie demeurent toutefois très hétérogènes, en fonction du degré d'exposition au commerce mondial et de la capacité des économies à s'appuyer sur des moteurs domestiques ou technologiques spécifiques. Parmi les économies avancées, la Corée du Sud affiche une croissance modérée mais relativement équilibrée. Les exportations, notamment de semi-conducteurs, restent un pilier central, tandis que la demande intérieure et le soutien public contribuent à amortir les fluctuations du cycle mondial. Singapour apparaît plus vulnérable au ralentissement du commerce international, aux tensions tarifaires et à la faiblesse de la demande chinoise, avec peu de relais domestiques en raison de l'étroitesse de son marché intérieur. Taïwan se démarque en revanche favorablement : malgré un modèle fortement dépendant des exportations, son rôle stratégique dans les semi-conducteurs avancés lui permet de bénéficier pleinement du boom de l'intelligence artificielle, générant un choc de demande structurel compensant largement la faiblesse du commerce mondial traditionnel.
