Abstract

In the field of moral judgments, relativism denies the existence of any objectivity because it considers it, at best, from its positive angle. In contrast, this article aims to show that we can speak of objectivity in a practical sense. This results from a theory of justice that confers on unanimous agreement, conceived as a regulating ideal, the status of a priori foundation of this justice. Norms or values that do not contradict (logically and performatively) this foundation are therefore objectively just in a practical sense.
