Abstract

Le texte fait partie d'un dossier consacré aux employeurs du secteur associatif. Il met en avant quels peuvent être les coûts et bénéfices de ces employeurs à s'engager dans des collectifs patronaux. Ces dirigeants ont la particularité d'exercer leur rôle de dirigeant d'association de façon bénévole (à l'inverse de la majorité des chefs d'entreprise). Ils ont aussi la particularité de s'être engagés dans une fonction bénévole, certes à responsabilité, pour le projet associatif et non pas pour devenir employeurs ce qui conduit à ce que certains délèguent la responsabilité à des salariés des associations. La participation à des collectifs patronaux peut revêtir des enjeux stratégiques pour l'association : accéder à des réseaux de relation ; promouvoir les activités de l'association ; recruter des salariés ou des bénévoles ; etc. L'article distingue dès lors les coûts et bénéfices de ces adhésions et participations pour ces dirigeants « atypiques » des mondes patronaux.
