Abstract

Depuis le début des transformations de l'économie chinoise, à la fin des années 1970, les écarts entre villes et campagnes n'ont cessé de se creuser. Ces dernières, laissées à la marge des progrès économiques qu'a connus le pays, menacent de se transformer en foyers d'instabilité sociale. Cette perspective est devenue un sérieux sujet de préoccupation pour le gouvernement central. Malgré le nouvel élan qu'ont connu les politiques de développement rural au cours des années 2000, les écarts persistent entre villes et campagnes, notamment en matière d'accès au crédit...
