Abstract

Partout en Europe, l'installation d'éoliennes provoque des conflits qui engagent une multitude d'acteurs publics, privés ou associatifs, au sein de coalitions locales, régionales ou nationales, elles-mêmes soumises à de fortes contraintes juridiques, économiques, environnementales ou privées. Les innovations institutionnelles, financières et politiques issues de la résolution de ces conflits reflètent la vivacité de la démocratie locale et la variété de la notion d'acceptabilité sociale. Fruit d'une coopération entre chercheurs en sciences sociales et ingénieurs, cet ouvrage analyse différents cas en Grande-Bretagne, en France, au Pays-Bas, en Allemagne et en Pologne – autant d'exemples de pays centralisés, régionalisés ou décentralisés. Il met au jour les préalables minimum à respecter avant l'installation d'éoliennes et élabore un référentiel d'aide à la décision.
