Abstract

Après seulement 15 jours de confinement, la production dans l'industrie manufacturière avait chuté de plus de 18 % au mois de mars. Auparavant, la plus forte baisse jamais enregistrée par l'INSEE était de 6 % en novembre 2008. Cette chute historique confirme, après la publication de la croissance du PIB au premier trimestre, l'ampleur inédite des conséquences de cette pandémie et des mesures sanitaires sur l'industrie française.
