Abstract

La 4e de couv. indique : "Alstom, Pechiney, Arcelor : pourquoi la désindustrialisation semble-t-elle frapper plus fortement la France ? Pourquoi l'automobile anglaise, donnée pour morte il y a quinze ans, est aujourd'hui plus performante et exportatrice que la nôtre ? Pourquoi avons-nous perdu notre place de premier exportateur agroalimentaire européen ? Quand la France a fait le choix de l'Europe, elle n'a tiré de son appartenance à la zone euro aucune conséquence en matière de compétivité, de finances publiques et de concurrence fiscale. Victime jusqu'ici de sa politique économique incohérente, elle peut encore rebondir et, comme d'autres pays, réussir sa réindustrialisation. La France peut changer de cap si l'on écarte les suspects traditionnels (Bruxelles, une politique commerciale angélique, un euro dévalué), et que l'on établit les vraies causes du décrochage. Parler d'industrie, ce n'est pas céder à une vision nostalgique et régressive, c'est penser un écosystème fait de technologies, de services, d'intelligence dans les réseaux et de production manufacturière".
