Abstract

Quel est ce modèle allemand si souvent évoqué dans notre pays ? Quelles transformations connaît-il aujourd'hui ? L'Allemagne fait-elle vraiment mieux que la France ? Pour répondre à ces questions et sortir d'une vision manichéenne, « Place au débat » vous propose, ici, l'analyse renouvelée de trois jeunes économistes chevronnés.Si les performances de l'Allemagne en termes de croissance, d'emploi et de compétitivité sont incontestables, elles ne doivent pas faire oublier les zones d'ombre de son économie. Accentuation sensible des inégalités salariales, augmentation de la pauvreté, inégalités hommes-femmes sur le marché du travail, vieillissement démographique… Pour mieux comprendre ce modèle allemand, si souvent cité, l'angle d'approche proposé accorde une importance particulière aux interactions entre, d'un côté, les évolutions économiques et, de l'autre, la modification des équilibres entre acteurs au sein de l'économie sociale de marché.
