Cherté du logement : le logement social est-il la bonne solution ?

Abstract

Si les lois, réglementations ou pratiques bancaires, nous ont permis en France d'éviter la crise des subprime (à l'américaine), le problème des crédits hypothécaires (à la britannique), l'allongement inconsidéré des durées de crédit immobilier (à l'espagnole), il n'en demeure pas moins une crise du logement : celle du logement cher. La cherté du logement en France ne cesse de croître, elle touche ceux qui souhaitent réaliser un projet d'acquisition (primo-accédants ou non) mais aussi les locataires, notamment ceux du secteur privé. Les ménages modestes ainsi que les jeunes sont les catégories les plus concernées par le logement cher. Dès lors, on peut s'interroger sur l'opportunité de renouer avec un programme de logement social plus ambitieux que celui actuellement en cours (...).
