Abstract

In diesem Artikel wurde versucht, die Entwicklung des strategischen Managements im Bereich Humanressourcen von kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen in Frankreich zu verstehen. Hierbei wurden zwei Ziele verfolgt : Erstens, wurde auf die Anfrage von mehreren Forschern geantwortet, die weitere Studien im Bereich Personalmanagement für KMU fordern. Zweitens, wurde versucht, das Wissen hinsichtlich des strategischen Personalmanagements ausserhalb des nordamerikanischen Kontextes resp. ausserhalb der grossen Unternehmen zu bereichern. Die Untersuchung basiert auf einer dynamischen Längsschnittstudie mit Daten von 388 französischen KMU, die im Zeitraum von 1998-2005 erhoben wurden. Es konnte festgehalten werden, dass das Personalmanagement vermehrt strategisch angewandt wird und ein Rückgang des verwaltungsorientierten Personalmanagements zu verzeichnen ist. Dieses Ergebnis ist wichtig, weil es aufzeigt, dass KMU auch flexible Praktiken in Bezug auf das Personalmanagement annehmen können.
