Abstract

La réorientation post-bac est un phénomène d'ampleur conséquente en France : en 2022, un tiers des lycéens venant d'intégrer le supérieur ont formulé de nouveaux vœux dans Parcoursup. Ces changements de parcours sont pourtant parfois perçus comme des échecs individuels ou comme un gaspillage de ressources publiques. Qu'en est-il réellement ? Cette note propose la première évaluation causale à grande échelle des effets d'une réorientation post-bac sur les parcours d'études et l'obtention d'un diplôme du supérieur, en s'appuyant sur des données administratives exhaustives
