Abstract

Cet article propose une analyse des Industries Culturelles et Créatives (ICC) basée sur la théorie économique, afin d'en dégager les caractéristiques et le rôle dans l'économie. Deux perspectives sont distinguées : celle où les ICC sont considérées comme un secteur économique à part entière et celle où la créativité, intrinsèquement liée à ces secteurs, est analysée comme le moteur du changement structurel dans une économie immatérielle et de l'innovation. La première partie s'appuie sur l'économie de la culture et l'économie industrielle pour mettre en exergue la spécificité des ICC et leur lien avec les mutations technologiques. La seconde partie explore des approches théoriques qui mettent en évidence l'importance de la créativité en tant qu'élément central du changement structurel caractérisant une << économie créative >>.
