Abstract

L'affaire Renault (2010-2011) est une fausse affaire d'espionnage industriel dans laquelle le service de sécurité du groupe a accusé à tort trois cadres de haut niveau pour divulgation de secrets industriels à la Chine au sujet du véhicule électrique. Cet article s'appuie sur une analyse structurelle de cette affaire avec l'ambition d'examiner les tendances contradictoires du capitalisme de type informationnel. Au cœur de l'affaire, c'est d'abord la tension entre espionnage et contre-espionnage, secret des affaires et secret personnel, que la médiatisation du scandale a permis de révéler. Mais cette tension doit être réinsérée dans un ensemble contradictoire plus vaste : entre protection et menace, concurrence et monopole d'innovation, privatisation des protections et imitation sécuritaire des pratiques étatiques, autonomie personnelle et contrôle salarial. Comme toutes les grandes affaires, l'affaire Renault manifeste l'arrivée aux limites de ces contradictions.
