Dynamiques socio-démographiques des effectifs militaires

Abstract

Le ministère de la Défense a été le second contributeur en termes de réduction d'effectifs sur la période 2010-2013 parmi l'ensemble des ministères. Un resserrement territorial sur les bases restées ouvertes a également été observé. Cette vague de restructurations a occasionné de nombreuses mutations professionnelles avec changement de résidence, qui ont connues un pic entre 2010 et 2012. Le taux de propriétaires parmi les militaires reste inférieur de 16,5 points par rapport à celui de l'ensemble de la population française en 2011. Entre 2000 et 2013, le taux de féminisation des militaires est passé de 10,7% à 15,6% et l'âge moyen a progressé de 1,2 an. En 2013, on comptabilise plus de femmes promues dans des grades de sous-officiers subalternes ou d'officiers subalternes que d'hommes, en proportion.
