Abstract

Considérations environnementales et activités militaires sont souvent présentées comme incompatibles. Cette note montre au contraire que les entreprises de la Base Industrielle et Technologique de Défense (BITD) française ont un comportement identique aux autres entreprises concernant l'introduction d'innovations environnementales. Elles sont même davantage innovantes dans le domaine des substances chimiques. Ce phénomène s'explique par le règlement REACH.
