Abstract

La carte du bruit routier parisien publiée en 2003 par la Ville de Paris semble avoir joué un rôle déterminant dans le processus de problématisation d'un phénomène jusque-là peu pris en compte et dans celui de transformation de certaines actions publiques. L'étude de cette carte, de sa fabrique et de ses usages, est l'occasion d'ouvrir la boîte noire de ces outils trop souvent considérés comme des objets donnés. L'hypothèse défendue ici montre que cette carte a été l'occasion de mettre ensemble un problème, que cette carte donne à voir, des actions dont elle assoit la légitimité et des acteurs dont elle devient une ressource stratégique, cimentant ainsi un nouvel énoncé de politiques publiques.
