Abstract

Les politiques publiques incitent les Établissements et services d'aide par le travail (ESAT) à devenir des passerelles vers le milieu ordinaire de travail. Or, les passages du milieu protégé en milieu ordinaire relèvent d'exceptions. L'article explore ce paradoxe à partir de méthodes qualitatives et quantitatives. L'étude montre que la majorité des personnes interrogées ne souhaite pas travailler en milieu ordinaire, perçu comme trop violent. Cette vision du milieu ordinaire est renforcée par le discours des salarié·e·s des ESAT, qui façonnent les perspectives des personnes handicapées et effectuent un tri parmi les personnes souhaitant aller vers le milieu ordinaire.
