L'économie en question. Que reste-t-il de la "nouvelle économie" ?

Abstract

Au cœur des débats il y a seulement quelques années, la nouvelle économie semble désormais reléguée au rayon des folies spéculatives sans lendemains. Pourtant, nombre d'analystes y voyaient l'avènement d'une nouvelle révolution industrielle, combinant gains de productivité élevés, croissance économique durable sans tensions inflationnistes et potentiel de valorisation boursière inédit pour les start-up. Aujourd'hui, après l'effondrement des valeurs technologiques et le retournement brutal de la conjoncture, la mise en perspective que propose ici Yves Crozet s'impose, pour faire la part entre les comportements irrationnels auxquels a donné lieu la nouvelle économie et les progrès indéniables qu'apportent les nouvelles technologies, et plus particulièrement l'internet.
