Abstract

En cumulant les déplacements locaux quotidiens et les déplacements à longue distance, chaque Français émet en moyenne près de 2 tonnes de dioxyde de carbone (CO2) par an. Représentant 99 % du nombre de déplacements et 60 % des distances parcourues, la mobilité quotidienne et locale concentre plus de 70 % des émissions de CO2 de la mobilité des résidents en 2008. Bien qu'elle représente un poids moins important, la mobilité à longue distance est à l'origine de la plus forte augmentation des émissions de CO2, passant de 26,6 % à 29,2 % du total des émissions entre 1994 et 2008.
