"Au bonheur des dames" ou la leçon de commerce de M. Zola

Abstract

Cet article met en évidence la pérennité de certains ressorts du commerce en effectuant un parallèle entre le grand magasin tel qu'il est apparu au siècle dernier et l'hypermarché. L'auteur utilise, à cet effet, le roman d'Emile Zola" Au Bonheur des Dames" et les notes prises par lui pour préparer cet ouvrage. A partir de cet exemple, elle suggère le recours à la littérature générale et à 1 'histoire pour une utilisation de recherche ou pédagogique. "Quoi de neuf ? ...Molière ! " S.
