Abstract

Le premier entrant sur un marché bénéficie d'avantages qui lui garantissent une position concurrentielle supérieure. Il semble donc a priori que les entrants suivants soient condamnés à se partager les parts de marché et les bénéfices restants. De nombreux exemples indiquent pourtant le contraire. L'objet de cet article est de proposer des pistes d'action pour que les entrants tardifs puissent surpasser les pionniers. Trois voies sont possibles : proposer des prix inférieurs, utiliser la puissance de l'entreprise, vendre un produit supérieur.
