Abstract

Comme les autres opérateurs de mobilité interurbaine, FlixBus subit de plein fouet la crise sanitaire, qui s'ajoute à un recul de la fréquentation déjà effectif. Sa diversification dans les chemins de fer avec FlixTrain pourrait contribuer à brouiller son image et l'arrivée de BlaBlaBus et du tout nouveau venu dans le pays, Pinkbus, lui causer préjudice, tout comme une compétition toujours vive avec le secteur ferroviaire. En misant sur une internationalisation de ses services et une stratégie multimodale et innovante, l'entreprise conserve néanmoins d'importants atouts pour contourner les obstacles et reconquérir la clientèle. A condition qu'il ne sacrifie pas outre mesure la qualité de ses services sur l'autel de la compétitivité.
