Abstract

"À l'usage, les idées se valorisent indûment". À survoler les commentaires médiatiques ou politiques des évolutions de la dette publique, on songe immanquablement à cette assertion de Bergson. En invoquant à satiété des poncifs, des images et des chiffres, ces commentaires en viennent à cautionner des propos dépourvus de fondements qui, faute de débat, passent pour des évidences.
