L’associationnisme de P. Buchez et de l’atelier : l’émancipation d’une communauté égalitaire par le devoir et le dévouement

Abstract

Nous nous attachons dans cette communication à caractériser la conception de l'entreprise comme association de travailleurs développée,dans la lignée saint-simonienne, par Philippe Buchez et les ouvriers du journal l'Atelier. Il s'agit d'une ingénierie sociale à distance du matérialisme historique, axée sur la question de la réalisation de l'équité par le dépassement de la domination du capital sur le travail. Dans un premier temps, nous analyserons la formation de celle-ci en nous attachant au parcours personnel de Philippe Buchez (§1) et à sa relation au saint-simonisme (§2). Dans un second temps nous caractériserons le socialisme de Philippe Buchez et sa conception de l'association ouvrière (§3). Enfin nous en présenterons la traduction pratique et la diffusion de sa pensée par les rédacteurs de l'Atelier (§4).
