Abstract

Ce chapitre pose un diagnostic sur les effets négatifs qui découlent du système monétaire international contemporain. Cela l'amène à revenir sur la portée théorique du plan Keynes, en particulier sur la nécessité de distinguer monnaie et crédit. Cette prise en considération des principes monétaires post-keynésiens met en lumière les effets pervers de l'usage d'une monnaie nationale dans les transactions internationales et fournit les clefs théoriques et pratiques pour l'instauration d'une véritable monnaie supranationale.
