Abstract

Avec la fermeture anticipée/précipitée des bourses de Shanghai et Shenzhen pour cause de chute brutale des indices, la situation financière chinoise a récemment fait l'actualité, ravivant le spectre d'une panique bancaire, voire d'une déstabilisation économique mondiale. Depuis plusieurs mois, il est régulièrement question d'une « crise » de l'économie chinoise. Quel est le sens de cette « crise » ? L'économiste Mylène Gaulard propose ici une interprétation attentive aux spécificités chinoises, tout en les réinscrivant dans les contradictions génériques du développement capitaliste.
