Abstract

This study of two regional economic cooperation clusters (pôles territoriaux de coopération économique, PTCEs) in the industrial sector that are part of local industry ecology projects (ARDAINES and Fe2i), examines the SSE's embeddedness in both industry and sustainable development. Rooted in an approach that focuses on collective means of production, the study aims to show that the PTCE is a way of organising learning processes that are appropriate for creating businesses and local development by building up collective resources.
