De l'aliénation au « pouvoir-faire » : ce que les développeurs nous apprennent des transformations du travail

Abstract

La crise du monde du travail et son rapport à la crise identitaire actuelle sont de plus en plus évoqués dans le débat public. Une régression de ce monde paraît inévitable : l'affirmation des identités fixes du passé (nationales ou religieuses), en guise de caricature. Et pourtant, il existe une manière contemporaine d'avancer dans ce brouillard. Loin de donner des réponses fixes, regarder de près ce que la posture des développeurs propose à ce sujet nous aide à repenser le travail et l'identité et à passer d'une vision restrictive de l'organisation du premier à une vision qui ouvre des possibilités nouvelles. Pierre Maréchal, dans sa recension de l'ouvrage Les Développeurs parue dans Metis soulignait le paradoxe que, malgré l'hostilité de l'environnement institutionnel vis-à-vis du mode d'action des développeurs, « ils sont là et ils agissent ».
