Abstract

Ce chapitre a pour objet d'analyser les principaux déterminants de la dynamique des pollutions atmosphériques dans les provinces chinoises sur la période 2005-2011, période caractérisée par une intervention plus marquée des régulateurs publics dans la lutte contre les pollutions, inflexion qui apparaît nettement dans le 11e plan quinquennal. Dans un premier temps, une analyse en données de panel nous permet de souligner la complexité des trajectoires de pollutions atmosphériques provinciales qui accompagnent les transformations institutionnelles. Ensuite, nous nous concentrons sur la question de la mobilité quotidienne en ville, en testant le lien entre la structure spatiale provinciale et urbaine et la mobilité.
