Abstract

À partir des données des recensements canadiens, la présente étude examine les facteurs de l'inégalité de revenu des immigrés et des natifs dans le cas canadien pendant la période 1991-2011. Les résultats montrent que les travailleurs immigrés sont dans l'ensemble caractérisés par un niveau de revenu inférieur à celui des natifs. Le rendement de l'éducation a significativement diminué pour les immigrés au cours du temps. Ils sont surreprésentés dans le segment inférieur de l'échelle professionnelle, réduisant leur revenu.
