Abstract

La mutualisation logistique, définie comme l'utilisation commune de ressources par des entreprises juridiquement indépendantes, connaît un engouement certain auprès des professionnels et intéresse donc naturellement les chercheurs. Malgré les rapports qui attestaient d'une diffusion rapide, ces démarches demeurent encore aujourd'hui limitées. L'objet de cet article est de s'interroger sur les raisons de cette relativement faible diffusion. Après un retour critique sur la littérature académique existante pour montrer que les cadres théoriques mobilisés ne permettent pas de répondre à cette question, nous présentons les résultats d'un programme de recherche conduit, sur une durée de plus de trois années, auprès de l'ensemble des acteurs de ces démarches. Les résultats présentés sont alors l'occasion d'une discussion sur les cadres théoriques sous-tendant la mutualisation logistique.
