Dominance et amplification des influences dans les structures linéaires

Abstract

Dans une structure de productions et d'échanges ou dans un réseau quelconque où des flux transitent entre des pôles, les chocs externes se diffusent par les arcs et les chemins directs et se répercutent de proche en proche. L'influence finale est identique à la somme d'une série convergente parce que les boucles et circuits adjacents amplifient indéfiniment mais de manière décroissante les premiers effets transmis par les chemins. L'un des résultats les plus inattendus du papier est que l'amplificateur attaché à un chemin d'influence se calcule beaucoup plus aisément si l'on élimine tous les circuits adjacents à ce chemin : malice de la linéarité ! Une application comparative (1980-2004) des amplificateurs des principales relations de dominance commerciale révèle des discontinuités et des transformations majeures, intervenues au tournant du siècle, dans le monde d'une part, entre pays africains d'autre part.
