Abstract

Le problème de la continuité et de la rupture occupe une place centrale dans l'interprétation des grands bouleversements sociaux. La perception contemporaine de ces derniers privilégie la rupture, tandis qu'avec le temps émergent les ré-interprétations soulignant les lignes de continuité entre l'avant et l'après. On observe une telle évolution à propos de la Révolution Française et, à un moindre degré, de la Révolution Russe. Bien que le recul historique soit encore très faible, l'effondrement récent des régimes communistes en Europe de l'Est et les transformations sociales qu'il a déclenchées, posent déjà le problème des relations entre rupture et continuité, entre héritage, destruction et création sociaux. Dans cet article, l'auteur propose quelques réflexions concernant la dimension économique de cette question au cours de la transition post-socialiste.
