Abstract

Jean Tirole, prix Nobel d'économie 2014 est l'auteur de contributions aux domaines de l'organisation industrielle dont les considérations prescriptives participent à la conception des politiques de concurrence et de réglementation. En étendant le champs d'application du référentiel de l'équilibre concurrentiel, ces contributions ont enrichi l'analyse des marchés de concurrence imparfaite et des dispositifs de leur régulation en faisant de l'hypothèse du comportement optimisateur et de la loi de la demande leur noyau dur. Cette démarche est à l'examen sujette à caution : outre qu'elle renferme des incohérences internes, elle se solde par l'abandon de toute représentation générale des marchés décentralisés.
