Abstract

Questo saggio si articola in due parti. Nella prima, mi propongo di mettere inluce alcuni elementi spesso occultati che contribuiscono a spiegare, nello stesso tempo, la natura della crisi attuale e il ruolo strategico rappresentato dalle politiche d'espropriazione delle istituzioni del welfare . Nella seconda, cercherò di mettere in evidenza la maniera in cui, intorno alla questione delle istituzioni del welfare, la crisi fa emergere l'alternativa tra due modelli opposti di società e di regola- zione di un'economia fondata sul ruolo motore del sapere e sulla sua diffusione.
