Abstract

Les temps de travail élevés sont souvent associés à une mauvaise qualité de la vie. Et pourtant, les encadrants se caractérisent en général par la coexistence d'un temps de travail important et d'une satisfaction au travail élevée. Dans un article qui a fait date, les deux premiers auteurs mettaient en évidence l'impact de la durée du travail sur la qualité de vie et les souffrances au travail, mais surtout ils notaient qu'au-delà de la quantité de travail, c'est la qualité du travail qu'il convient d'améliorer pour améliorer dans le même mouvement le sort des encadrants (Abord de Chatillon et Desmarais, 2007). L'article suivant se donne pour objectif de comparer la situation des managers français et suisses en matière de conditions de travail et plus particulièrement au regard de la fatigue.
