Le cours plancher du franc suisse face à l'euro : quand la musique s'arrêtera-t-elle ?

Abstract

La crise actuelle, débutée en 2007, a durement mis à l'épreuve la Banque Nationale Suisse (BNS), qui a dû prendre le 6 septembre 2011 une mesure radicale : définir et s'engager à défendre un cours plancher de 1 euro contre 1,20 franc suisse. Il s'agit d'un ancrage asymétrique officiel, au sens où la BNS n'intervient que si le franc suisse descend en-dessous de ce seuil. Mais pourquoi une telle mesure, d'ailleurs toujours en vigueur ? Surtout, quand la BNS sera-t-elle susceptible d'en sortir, et quelles en seront les conséquences ?
