Abstract

Cet article introduit le numéro de la Revue de la régulation consacré à Elinor d'Ostrom. Une première partie dessine les grandes lignes de l'institutionnalisme d'Ostrom où sont introduits les principaux outils, concepts et méthodes qui le caractérisent et permettent de saisir son approche d'ensemble. C'est l'occasion de mettre en évidence, au-delà des différences d'appréciation, l'importance, l'opérationnalité mais aussi certaines limites de la démarche d'Ostrom. Une seconde partie traite de sa méthodologie en acte, là au demeurant où elle s'est élaborée et constituée, sur et autour de la notion de "communs" et dans sa relation avec la notion de droits de propriété.
