Abstract

in line with Retour and Krohmer (2006) previous research on collective competencies' components, we have focused on an unexplored issue: how do these constitutive components operate and combine in context? In this perspective, this research mobilizes the concept of organizational attention to understand the roles and the combination of two constitutive components: shared framework and engagement in action. This research is based on an exploratory case study conducted in a cement manufacturing plant, characteristic of a complex and dynamic work setting.
